Wiz Khalifa will spend 4/20, the international marijuana holiday, taking part in the “Higher Together: Sessions from Home” festival.
The Pittsburgh-raised, LA-based rap star will do a DJ set from his home during the festival, which will also feature Billy Ray Cyrus, Ari Lennox, Joey “CoCo” Diaz and Berner.
“Higher Together,” presented by Weedmaps, which provides technology and software to the cannabis industry, will run from 3 to 8 p.m. Monday at weedmaps.com/420.
That same day, the rapper will drop a new EP, “The Saga of Wiz Khalifa.”
“Super excited to hang with the Weedmaps smokers all over the world,” Khalifa said in a statement. “I’m even more pumped to be able to share a new project on a holiday everyone loves.”
On Thursday (April 16), Khalifa is celebrating the three-year anniversary of his mobile game, Wiz Khalifa’s Weed Farm, with a new launch. To support the hardships created by COVID-19, the rapper and the Weed Farm team at Metamoki will be donating to Feeding America.
Wiz Khalifa’s Weed Farm has been downloaded 10 million times in eight countries and six languages. The special anniversary event will launch at 8 p.m. The app can be downloaded through the iOS app store and Google Play directly.
