Meanwhile police say in a media release they have discovered “further quantities of cannabis destined for remote communities” including some in a tyre tube of a child’s bike (pictured).


Between April 24 and 30 police seized about 630 grams of cannabis destined for remote communities in the NT, says the release.


“Police estimate the street value of cannabis seized to be upwards of $95,000.


“One person was issued a notice to appear in court and two drug infringements were issued. Two further incidents are being investigated.
