BEIRUT: The Internal Security Forces have arrested a woman for smuggling two kilograms of hashish hidden inside chocolate wrappers, the agency said Thursday.

At 5 a.m. Thursday, security officers at Beirut Airport seized 1.96 kilograms of hashish from a Lebanese woman traveling from Lebanon to Germany.

The woman, identified as B.Q and born in 1974, allegedly confessed during investigations to having used cocaine.

She was referred to the ISF’s Anti-Drug Bureau for further investigation.
