South Australia: Carey Gully Mini Bust – Only 18 Plants

South Australia police  posted the following this week

An elaborate cannabis crop was found by police at a Carey Gully property yesterday.

Acting on information from the public, Hills Fleurieu CIB detectives and patrols attended a Carey Gully address about 11am on Thursday 23 April.

Officers found grow rooms containing 18 cannabis plants, a large amount of dried cannabis and prescribed equipment.

The suspect, a 34-year-old Carey Gully man, drove past the property and was intercepted by police.

He was arrested and charged with cultivating a commercial quantity of cannabis, trafficking a large commercial quantity of a controlled drug, possessing prescribed equipment and theft of electricity.

He was bailed to appear in the Mount Barker Magistrates Court on 19 August.
