The Saddar Police Chiniot during snap checking of vehicles in its jurisdiction stopped a suspected car. During search of vehicle, 43.75 kilogram hashish hidden in its secret cavities was recovered and three drug peddlers on board were detained.
The detainees in the preliminary investigation revealed that they used to purchase drugs from tribal areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) and supply it in various districts of Punjab. The police took the recovered hashish worth millions of rupees in custody.—INP
