Meanwhile In Malaysia: Man arrested after single 50cm high marijuana plant found at Gombak house

A narcotics raid by police led to the discovery of a marijuana plant at a house in Taman Sri Gombak.

Gombak OCPD Asst Comm Arifai Tarawe, in a statement on Monday (May 11), said the raid was conducted on May 10 around 10.30pm.

“A 31-year-old man was checked, and a plastic bag containing dried leaves that we suspected to be ganja was found inside a room.

“A bottle was also found that had been modified, which we believe was used as a tool to smoke drugs.

“A plastic container holding a suspected marijuana plant, with an estimated height of around 50cm, was found at the front of the house,” he said.

Urine examinations conducted on the suspect came back positive for ganja.

“Preliminary investigations show that the shrub was planted by the suspect around two months ago from seeds obtained from a previous stash.

“He has been remanded for five days,” ACP Arifai said.
