$1.7 Million Bust In Sydney’s Western Suburbs

A man is facing multiple drug charges after police discovered an estimated $1.7 million worth of cannabis plants across several properties in Sydney’s south west.

Nearly 700 cannabis plants were seized on Wednesday during searches of homes in Panania, Georges Hall and Sefton in Sydney’s south west.

A 66-year-old man was arrested outside a home at Georges Hall and later charged with multiple drug offences.

The Cabramatta man was refused bail to appear at Campbelltown Local Court on Thursday
